Selling Your Car
We buy all types of vehicles — cars, vans, utes, trucks, SUVs, and 4x4s. It doesn't matter the make, model, age, or condition. Running, not running, damaged, accident write-offs, deregistered, or completely dead — we buy them all. Japanese, European, and domestic makes are all welcome.
The amount depends on the make, model, age, condition, and current scrap metal market rates. We pay anywhere from $300 for scrap cars up to $12,000+ for vehicles in reasonable condition. Call us or fill out our online form for a free, no-obligation quote. We guarantee competitive prices.
No. We buy cars with or without a current WoF or registration. Deregistered vehicles, expired WoFs, and cars that haven't been on the road for years are all fine. We handle all the necessary paperwork including deregistration with Waka Kotahi (NZTA).
You'll need valid photo ID (driver's licence or passport) and ideally the vehicle's registration papers. If you don't have the registration papers, we can still help — we just need to verify ownership. We handle all transfer and deregistration paperwork for you.
Car Removal Process
It's simple. Call us on 022 434 0418 or submit a quote request online. We'll give you an instant price based on your vehicle details. If you accept, we schedule a free pickup at your convenience — often the same day. Our team arrives, pays you cash on the spot, and tows the vehicle away. The whole process takes about 20 minutes.
Yes, 100% free. We never charge for towing or removal. Whether your car is in a garage, driveway, backyard, or on the roadside — we come to you at no cost. The price we quote you is the price you receive, with no deductions for towing or any other fees.
In most cases, we offer same-day removal. If you call in the morning, we can usually have your vehicle collected by the afternoon. For calls later in the day, next-morning pickup is typically available. We cover all of Wellington, Hutt Valley, Porirua, and the Kapiti Coast.
We cover the entire Wellington region including Wellington City, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Porirua, and the Kapiti Coast (Paraparaumu, Waikanae, Raumati, Otaki). If you're unsure whether we reach your area, give us a call — we probably do.
Payment & Pricing
We pay cash on the spot when we collect your vehicle. Our driver will count out the agreed amount and hand it to you before we tow the car away. For larger amounts, we can also arrange a direct bank transfer if you prefer.
You get paid immediately when we pick up your vehicle. There's no waiting period, no bank processing time (for cash payments), and no invoicing. Accept our quote, we come to you, you get paid — it's that straightforward.
Absolutely not. The quote we give you is the exact amount you receive. No towing fees, no admin charges, no paperwork costs, no surprises. We believe in transparent, honest pricing.
Vehicle Conditions
Yes. Non-running vehicles are a large part of what we buy. Whether the engine is blown, the transmission is gone, or the battery is flat — we buy it. We have specialist equipment to load and transport non-running vehicles at no extra cost to you.
Yes, we buy all types of damaged vehicles including collision damage, flood damage, fire damage, and insurance write-offs. Even if your insurer has deemed the car a total loss, we'll still buy it and pay you a fair price.
We buy cars of any age. Old, rusty vehicles still have value in scrap metal and recyclable materials. Even a car that's been sitting in a paddock for years can be worth several hundred dollars. Give us a call and we'll give you an honest quote.
Environmental & Legal
Your vehicle is taken to our yard where it's processed responsibly. Hazardous fluids (oil, coolant, brake fluid) are safely drained and disposed of, and the vehicle is crushed and recycled. Over 85% of every vehicle we process is recycled.
Yes. We follow all New Zealand environmental regulations for vehicle disposal. We are licensed to handle hazardous materials and ensure that fluids, batteries, tyres, and other potentially harmful components are disposed of through approved channels. Recycling is at the core of what we do.
Yes. We take care of all the paperwork involved in transferring ownership and deregistering your vehicle with Waka Kotahi (NZTA). Once we've collected your car and completed the process, you won't receive any further correspondence about the vehicle.
